5 - 6 cups blackberries (if you are short on blackberries, you can round out with blueberries)
Put fruit in an 8x8 pan that has been greased with butter. You can dot fruit with butter if you prefer a richer cobbler
Topping
1/2 c flour
1/2 c oatmeal (if you have no oatmeal, you can use 1 c flour instead)
1/2 c sugar (you can add up to 3/4 c sugar if you prefer a sweeter dessert)
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 egg
1/4 c (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, melted - if butter is salted, don't add additional salt
Mix dry ingredients. Then beat egg separately and add to dry mixture. Sprinkle dry mixture evenly on top of fruit. Melt the butter and drizzle it over the top.
Bake 350 for 30 to 35 min
